Mississagi River Adventures
New to Wakomata Shores Resort are kayak adventures on the Mississagi River. Rent one of our new Clear Water Design kayaks and explore the river for the day. This meandering river is enjoyable for all skill levels, form the beginner to the advanced.

We offer half day and full day self exploration options or guided excursions. For $35 per person we will transport you, your paddling party and kayaks to our put-in at Rapid River and pick everyone up at Snowshoe Creek. Wakomata Shores is also offering a shuttle service for those who have there own kayaks or canoes.

Kayak Instruction
If you have never been in a kayak one of our experienced staff would be more than willing to spend some time teaching you the basics skills involved in kayaking.

A one hour lesson and the use of a kayak for the day is $25.00 per person. Day rentals without lesson is $20 per person.
