If sitting on the ice staring down a hole is not for you or the appeal of a snowmobile is not your cup of tea there is still plenty to do at Wakomata Shores Cottage Resort. Come and relax in one of our fully equipped cottages with hot running water, indoor plumbing and wood burning stove. Stay and relax in one of our cozy cottages or sweat it out in our sauna. Take a plunge in our brand new hot tub and then roll in the snow.

If something more adventurous is what you had in mind then bring your cross country skis or snowshoes and explore the numerous logging roads and trails in the area.

Snowmobilers can ride the fully groomed trails right from their cottage doorstep. Travel miles of marked wilderness trails taking in spectacular scenery reaching the heights of land overlooking rolling hills and lakes. Reach all the trails in Northern Ontario right from Wakomata Shores.

Ride the signed, but ungroomed Wilderness Trail for a truly unique experience. Although not advisable for the faint of heart, those brave enough to venture into this remote wilderness will be astounded at the untamed beauty of this area.
